During my time working with John Lewis, they had many new sub brands added into their collections and this was one of them. The new branded outerwear was a sub collection aimed to entice a large age range of customer. After viewing the collection I picked out the key pieces and cast two models who were perfect for the shoot. I wanted the models to have bold poses and the camera angle to be slightly lowered to accentuate this. The harsh lighting makes the garments stand out against the dark background. Using an older model was something that the brand had never wanted to do before so this was a massive achievement and great for the brands overall sale of the collection.
